Three hours away from Colombo we find the beautiful town of Unawatuna, which is famous for its long, palm-lined stretches of beach. Here life is slow and simple. The men of this town, some of the last left in Sri Lanka to still use such a traditional method of fishing, sit atop stilts dug into the shore. They take shifts to use these poles and sell their catch on the streets and in the village market.
